I haven't been in the mood to blog lately. Mainly due to my dissatisfaction with the publishing world and lack of progress in my journey. But it's all due to the the changing seasons. Summer is not the time to be sitting inside typing away on a laptop. It's the time to be outside in the fresh air with your friends.
An example, yesterday I spent the entire evening with two of my friends. One of needed to go to the bank to do adult things like deposit money. Long story short, we spent 54 minutes wandering the streets of Columbus trying to find something that no longer exists (disclaimer: it might exist but we never saw it). Instead of getting frustrated we laughed it off an embraced it. It was so much fun not knowing where exactly we were but moving forward anyways.
This is how I should view my writing. Actually, it's probably how we all should see life. You're going to be on a path and more often than not, you're going to get lost. When this happens don't become frustrated. That's the easiest thing to do. Try brushing it off and thinking yeah I'm lost whatever. Because eventually you'll find your way back.
What's really funny about this blog post is that I'm giving out advice that I know that I'll probably not take because right now I want to wallow in my own self pity haha. Whoops!
Oh well. At least I'm being honest? ... =)
Well, I hope you enjoyed this rambling, pointless and yet inspiring blog post. Brought to you by a hungry mind and stomach from a girl that is sitting on her couch with three cats.
