Models are only as good as the data provided. I feel Ohio's cases are not realistic. They are much higher. When you compare the number of tests given to the number of confirmed cases, it's skewed. Ohio was one of the LAST states to receive their COVID19 tests. Ohio had a limited supply, and this caused OSU to create a more rapid test. We are still far behind from being close to accurate numbers. Don't be fooled into thinking everything is improving when people are scared to go to the hospital
people are being refused tests because they aren't sick enough
people are asymptomatic and don't even know it.
Recent studies came out saying there isn't enough evidence through laboratory studies to believe the virus will dissipate with warm weather positively.
You're doing more damage by wearing gloves out in public. Plastic gloves are suitable for one use only. That doesn't mean one uses to wear them to the store and take them off. It means to put a pair of gloves on, touch a cart, and as soon as you go to touch something else, you change the gloves. To those people wearing gloves out in public touching everything in the store, it's the same as not wearing gloves. It's much more effective to wash your hands after leaving the store.
If you're going to wear a face mask, make sure you're wearing it the right way, or else it's pointless.
The virus isn't going to go away once the rules in place are lifted.
A peak doesn't mean, we reach the top and immediately head down. Peaks can plateau. They can level out and last a long time. Also:
once we hit our peak, things won't go back to normal.
The economy will not bounce back as quickly as you want it too.
People will still be without income.
For particular individuals who feel this is an overreaction, please remember, the world doesn't revolve around you. There are six degrees between you and a stranger. Meaning it takes only six individuals between you and this person to find a link. So, there is someone who has contracted, will contract, has died, or will die between you and the six degrees. Let's drown the ideology that if something isn't happening to you, then it's not happening. I mean, if y'all are going to be religious, you can believe a virus has an impact.
You are not immune to the virus. Even if you are asymptomatic, that doesn't make you immune. Because you still caught it.
Isolation is the most unhealthy thing since high fructose corn syrup.
To those who hoarded(ing), I hope not a single item you bought in bulk goes to waste. I hope you shared with others where it mattered.
Just because there is a pandemic going on, doesn't mean you have to turn off your humanity. <--- rewind and read this.
Communication has severely been lacking, and I find this frustrating.
Nothing about the behaviors of others, the false notions believed, nor the lack of education is shocking to me. Y'all need to be better, not more predictable.
